Used by the Huichol, Zapotec, and Tarahumara tribes for divination purposes, much like Calea and Heimia. The herb was often mixed with Tobacco and smoked in ceremonies to induce visions. It was also employed as a seasoning for soups, salads, and teas for its delicious, anise-like flavor. This is an interesting herb that requires more research!
