The leaves, when held to the light, reveal translucent dots and the flowers have speckles of red. The common name is supposedly comes from John The Baptist. The red spots on the Hypericum perforatum petals represent the blood from his beheading, and the translucent spots on the St. John's Wort leaves represent the tears shed over the event.
We offer St. John's Wort seeds as well as cut and sifted foliage.
