Erythrina mulungu (Mulungu) Bark 90% Alkaloidal Extract

Starting at: $4.50

Erythrina verna (Mulungu) is a fascinating tree that has a long history of use in South American traditional medicine.  The term "Mulungu" refers to two different species of Erythrina: Erythrina mulungu, and Erythrina verna.  Both species are used by the indigenous peoples as a strong sedative which is said to calm the nervous system and induce a pleasant sleep.  Modern research shows that Mulungu contains at least 20 isoquinoline alkaloids, many of which are anti-inflammatory, sedative, and analgesic in nature.  Animal studies also suggest GABA and Nicotinic receptor activity!

Harvested in the Brazilian Rainforests and extracted to 90% alkaloid content!

Our Mulungu Extract is sold for legitimate ethnobotanical research purposes only and is not intended for human consumption!  By ordering you are automatically agreeing to our terms and conditions.
