Many women have reported significant arousal and increased pleasurable sensations, and it has been helpful in cases of frigidity and lack of sexual interest.

History:
Yohimbe is an evergreen tree, native to the African forests of Nigeria, Cameroon, Gabon and the Congo, and it thrives in moist soil with high humidity in high temperatures, rising to a height of one hundred feet with a breadth of fifty feet. It has a reddish-brown bark, leaves and small flowers, and the bark is collected in the wild (the tree is not believed to be cultivated anywhere) for commercial use in herbal medicine. It has been used in traditional African medicine as a potent aphrodisiac, especially treating male erectile disorders, and as a remedy for heart problems, leprosy and other skin conditions. Various tribes ingested Yohimbe to enhance sexual prowess and smoked it for its hallucinogenic properties. Medicinal use of Yohimbe reached Europe in the 1890s. Most of the pharmacological data collected concerns one of the bark's isolated constituents, the indole alkaloid, yohimbine; and Yohimbe Bark is the original source of the chemical, yohimbine, which has been included in drugs that treat erectile dysfunction. The chemical has also been found in the South American herb, quebracho. Although Yohimbe Bark is available in the United States, it carries serious health warnings and should be used with great caution. The phytochemicals in Yohimbe Bark include ajmaline, corynantheine, coryanthine, tannin and the important yohimbine.

Our Yohimbe extract is sold for legitimate ethnobotanical research purposes only and is not intended for human consumption!  By ordering you are automatically agreeing to our terms and conditions.
